point motors

hi would it be possible to control point motors (hornby) by using an on-off-on switch than a capacitor used in between the switches and point motors so the charge is thrown over tho the other side of the point would it work or would it blow up?

could i use 2 old hornby controllers http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/images/ho/hornby-train-controller.jpg
together on one rail to provide power for my point motors?
