my build thread

hi all i thought id tell you about my lay out plan and my progres so far kinda like a build thread:rolleyes: well here goes im basing my lay out on a mountain village coverd in lite snow. i am using fine scale concreat sleeper track as i thing it will give me a better effect. i am using a 38" x 4ft base bord with cork ontop of the main bord its like mdf but diffrent if you get what i mean track pins go in easy with a pair of pliers lol. i am still laying the track at the moment and slowly gathering bits and bobs ie a veriaty of pine and conifer trees and the odd bit of shrubary. the actualy track plan is a oval going under a tunnel then going back around over the tunnel and joing up so like a figure of eight. the out most track will apear to be in a valley in the mountain so if all goes to plan it will look good. i am using instalation foam bords for my hills/mountain. ill post up some pics when i start to get to the interesting stuff
