Hi

It appears you may have found a live steam version of the Rocket. It was made in late 1970's early 1980's

If my memory is right water goes in over the boiler and lighter fuel gas goes in the water barrel on the tender, which feeds a burner which gives about 8mins running time on the track

It is worth getting to checked to see if it is a live steam and if the boiler and gas tanks are safe to use.

thank you tony...it is live steam...but good safety advice...so many thanks :)

have spoken to george today...bless him he had forgotten he had it....

george bought it in 1971 and had it set up in the conservatory and then out into the garden..around the pond lol there is...somewhere another 200 ft of track...as far as he can remember it was last run around 1980
