I think I have been able to attach some photo's of the layout I am presently building. I am not sure if my points are in the correct place, or doing the correct manouver. Any comments would be appreciated. It is not finished by any means but it lets me watch the trains go by. If you have any criticism that will also be welcome as long as it is constructive.
Thanks Albert.

Hi Johnny may, thanks for your comments, I have in fact started to alter my layout. I no longer have the turntable, I have removed a couple of sets of points, ( they were too far at the back, and there are others that do the same thing.) I have also removed one of my sidings, and the sidings with the turntable. I am not sure what I am to do yet, but the turntable was too big. I now have a separate run for a loco or 2 , plus the up and around, down and around, which gives the locos a good run.
At the moment I am having track feed problems, as with moving track I have cut a lot of the feeds from the bus, so at the moment a lot is running on fishplate contact. I assure you it is not the best, my locos keep stalling in different areas.
Anyway I will post a layout when it gets morestable.
Regards
Albert.

hi personally i like the track layout and the size and the design but what are you planning on doing with the raised track, i thought something like i viaduct would be good :D

Hi Hinton, yes my plan is to make the high level a viaduct. however you may notice that it is a little narrow and I will have to build it out. I had some precut ply which I was going to use for the high level around the outside, but it encroched on my station so i changed it to the design you see. I will admit that between fitting chips, changing track, and running trains, I don't have much time for the actual modelling.
My grandson brought his layout round to the house tonight, he wants me to fix some of the stoned roofing felt as ballast under his track. This of couse means I have to take all his track up and cut the felt to shape then fix it and the track back down. Then of course I will have to test it.
Regards
Albert.

Hi all, I just found my posting of my layout and I can say it has changed a little bit since i posted it. It is generally the same but I have changed quite a bit of the lower section. Not that it is all wired up yet I have been busy building a small village and station, but it is not yet in the final position. I found also it takes ages to paint little people, and not very good either, my brush was a bit too big although I thought it was the smallest I could get. Hopefully will post some photo's in the near future.
Regards Albert.
