Hello and Welcome Terry. I'm afraid I can't help you much, the only thing I've come up with is this in fig 1 http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/gansg/8-yards/y-goodb.htm it doesn't give dimensions but it might be possible to work them out. the other thing is that TEAM YAKIMA a member of this forum is a member of the Twickenham & District MRC , they have a layout of Ashburton and if you send him a private message he might be able to get a copy of there drawings. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Hi Terry,-at risk of sounding terribly obvious, have you tried the South Devon Railway folk:-I would imagine they might have a fair archive.....On a more philosophical note, are you sure that is the station for you ?? :-I am paraphrasing the late CJF here, whilst it looks good on the back of an envelope,in the flesh it has some weak points-1 : built to scale it is about 15` long in 00 with not much happening, 2 : the mill siding was always rope worked ( the turnout is too close to the goods shed to allow an engine and wagon access ) 3 : very limited options on stock (14xx on auto`s ,poss. 44xx or 16xx panniers)
Cattle specials were apparently a feature :-I have read somewhere that on one occaision,-a market day I assume, the whole station was gridlocked and resolution was only reached by a bunch of fellas leaning on pinchbars and forcing a turnout across despite their being an engine sitting on a large part of it......

Sorry,I`m rambling-hope you find what you`re looking for :-ATB Nick

Great Western Branch Line Termini by Paul Karau OPC has scale drawings of the station, and plenty of photos and plans.
