Hi I have a Graham Farish A1 which I ran in as per the manufacturers instructions and now converted to DCC. My problem is that it runs fine backwards but when going forwards it jerks and stutters and won't run properly. I have cleaned the track and wheels and oiled it but nothing I do seems to improve the situation. This is the only loco with any running issues. Anyone any ideas on how I can improve things?I

Hi
Are you 100% sure the problem is not there on dc?
Consider removing the decoder and insert the dc blanking plug and then carefully retry on dc. If its jerky on dc then its probably a gearing, motor or motion binding problem.
However, if its ok on dc, then you could try removing any motor capacitors. Is it possible to try it with another know good decoder?

This seems to be a problem with the A1. I have heard of at least 4 in the last few days, One was a replacement for another bad runner. The advice given on most forum's is to return it to the shop it was bought from.
