Hi
It also depends on what scale you're modelling in?

UK "OO" modeller working in 1/76th scale or 4mm/foot has Ratio and Wills kits which make up well.
The former Airfix now Dapol range is ok but getting a bit old and tired now.

Then you're into continental "HO" scale of 1/87th or 3.5mm/foot which is a little bit too small for UK "OO". But works ok if the items are kept towards the background. Loads of continental manufactures to be had.

I'm enjoying the Ratio and Kestrel kits so far. Nice and cheap, and leave plenty to the builder's interpretation. The brick and stone detail is great to work with, and for the cost of the parts, I'm very happy with the results.

Hi Ritchie there is a free kit download for card kits at www. wordsworthmodelrailway.co.uk I have built a few and they are what you call quick fillers, but they are varied and quite good.

Albert.
