Good day,

I have asked my wife to write this as i have a sight problem but just retired from djing due to loss of sight but model railways has always been appealing to me so now i have mass amounts of time on my hands i thought of actually building a model railway layout.
I am using Hornby 00 scale models - using the new DCC controller with the Blue pullman and the new virgin pendalino.
I have a baseboard measuring 6x4ft i started to paint the board and use scatter but having a eyesight problem i think i have made a bit of a mess of it as i am not very tallented with scenery building what with my vision problem.

Is there any help out there who could give me genuine advice and help please.

I can send you pics of what i have so far if you write back to my email address at djjenko@timelordsdisco.freeserve.co.uk

Many thanks and Regards

Shaun:confused:

Have you tried some of the mats available? Such as the grass or tarmac effect ones? These could provide you with a good base for you to add to with extra bushes etc? If you have any pictures of your rcurrent layout - i would be glad to see them,

Good luck with your railway - rustynath
