Hi everyone,
My name is Chris and I am slightly embarrassed to say I have not got a model :o. I have been thinking for a long time about starting a project and have been inspired by this forum and other sites on the Internet. I have a Grandson now that although only three years old, is showing signs of loving trains, inspired as he is, like many others with the Thomas the Tank engine stories on TV. I bought him a Tomy set and he plays with it for hours, reminding me of the many hours of fun I had as a kid playing with my Triang and later Hornby set. I would like to build a modular design layout in OO. I am only in the finding out about things stage and this will take a while. I want to do things right and still not sure what way to go in the planning stage. Part of the reason of joining was I’ll admit, because I could no long view the forum and I have got hooked on the layouts here, just bowl me over. I have been given so many ideas, and now my head needs to calm down, but can’t stop reading your posts, and browsing all the great pics.
BTW, does anyone know where Duck Halt comes from? :)
Cheers, Chris.

Thanks Brian, Your right of course, I'm a big fan. :D The Layout will be called Westbourne from the 1st series, although the layout will be based on both series. I know this may sound a bit eccentric, but i am anyway, although most just call me bonkers. :( Still it is I hope going to be fun, but at the same time help me learn new skills, the first will be carpentry, not to good on that, but one must try, the other half say’s I’m good at being trying, don’t know what she means. ;)
Cheers,
Chris.
