Hello,
I have owned a railway set for most of my life (but being just 17- that's not hard :D). I have always wanted to create a model railway but there was not sufficient room to have a baseboard set up anywhere. The attic was not very inviting and mum said no to the dining room table idea :p- which was when I came up with my current situation depicted bellow - have the track on casters under my bed - so it could be rolled out - but also stored away :).
I purchased a new bed - the type where a second mattress can be wheeled out for sleep-overs, and with some light modifications - the mattress tray became the perfect base for my baseboard - and so I come to you now for general advice sharing as i undertake my first build.
