My scratch built fence

What do you think to my scratch built fences?

-Made from:
Short lengths of coctail sticks

black thread (but silver could be used)

brown paint.

-Some problems and some hints
I had to re-do a section as I had not kept the nots to one side of the sticks - and the result was poor.

Thread would fall off the top of the sticks- but i stopped this by cuting a notch where the top thread would go (squeezing stick with scissors works well).

Using bluetack to keep your hands free enables easier creation - as shown in the first picture.

Aaah, looks like you were working late on that one, with the lamp going there as you blue-tacked your cocktail sticks down (nice idea that). Good result in the end.

I wish I could do the same on my layout but being N gauge, cocktail sticks would be the equivalent of telegraph poles :)

Midlandmodeller - I thinking it was daylight when i started :P but after various misshaps and wrong doing the finished artical was a while in the making!
