Gluing polystyrene

Does any body have any suggestions as to which glue to use wit polystyrene ? I have not got much to waste so i don't need the glue melting it !

Hi, I presume you mean expanded polystyrene for scenery not the plastic kit type, I used No-Nails or something similar I think they are called a grab adhesives.

Woodworking PVA will bond Polystyrene very well as too will Copydex
The Polystyrene pieces do need pinning / tape to hold them together or some weight placed on top to hold the items until the PVA sets, but it does make an extremely strong bond. :)

Do not use any Solvent based adhesives! e.g. Evo Stick or Bostic etc. They will melt the Polystyrene
