Hi,

I am a newbie. Just started with 2 Hornby kits purchased 2 weeks ago.
In both of them, I found 2 small plastic pieces, "b" shaped, about 10 mm tall.
Can't figure out what they are for ?

A mail to Hornby customer support has not elicited any answer even after 10 days.

Can you please help ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi
Its really hard to say with being able to view the parts!
Can you post a clear picture of them so as we can then see them and advise further?

Hi Flashbang & John,

Thanks for your replies.
I am attaching a photograph.
After taking the photograph, on seeing the magnified image, I could make out some corrugations on the curved portion of the "b". John's guess seems to be correct.

Anyway, waiting for your feedback.

regards,

Debyani

Hi Debyani, so much easier with a photo, as John said and you surmised these are vacuum pipes they should be fitted to the front and rear buffer beams.

Hi
Yes 100% vacuum pipes for front and rear buffer beams.
You may well find a pre drilled hole already in each beam to accept the pin of the pipe which stands above the beam a little once plugged in. :)
