just a hello for now have n gauge layout i built for my son 4 years ago who is autistic all manual points but was a great starter for us just had new shed built and so he has asked me to buid a new modern image layout for him with class 66 s and block train stuff and who knows lol might have a crack at doing electric points but must admit usually me and some electrics dont mix also never done much soldering so whatch this space for advice please

when you solder heat up the metal you are soldering to first else it wont stick

hi thanks for that as i will in next week or 2 be soldering and getting some practice of putting the power wires to track instead of through them clip things as they are very inconsistant
