I too forgot about expansion gaps - gulp! I have to ensure the blinds are closed all day when its sunny - this also avoids fading. Pity I left my jelly snakes in the car the other day!

About to build a fiddle yard and have a 5 by 2 piece of 18mm pine (sorry, not 9mm) kept from an Ikea desk. Anyone used such a material or shall I stick with trad ply? Thank you.

Lineside clutter

Looking for some inspiration for steam era lineside clutter I could model other than the usual sleepers and abandoned pieces of rail. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
