Here is the result of the first one cut out and folded up. It gives a real impression of a battered look which is just right for what I'm trying to achieve.
Apart from cutting out and folding the others, the next job is to get the chassis sorted out. They should fit on old triang cast metal coach and wagon bogies. These bogies make ideal chassis especially when one changes the wheels. (With these the origional axles are to be retained and new wheels are to be mounted (I use 10.5mm wheels) on the old axles using slices of drinks straw as axle spacers.
