Default We were supposed to have snow today.

No snow today, though a few days ago we had snow. I took a PIC of the pond this morning so I thought I'd share it. Also of the house in the summer, and a glimpse of the Gower from the top field. I think one of the pics includes some snow!
Will be relocating one of these days. (Hence why i can only build a portable layout at the moment). Will miss this place and the views of the sea below when we move, but need a new adventure.

Quite a bucolic scene though it doesn't look like you are a keen gardener!

It was snowing a bit when I got up this morning MG but nothing to speak of and did not settle.
I hope it does not settle this week as we are taking a car load of delicate items to the new house as would prefer to take some special things in the car instead of the Pickfords truck.

It's snowing like billy-o in Teesside at the moment (and we all know how hard he can snow!)

Haha. No. Not with the size of the land. Used to keep goats at one time. We did have a cutting deck beneath the tractor but it saw better days. Top it all off, a spring has relocated to now come up in our field instead of the field across the lane, so we now have three separate water supplies apart from the mains water.
Footplate: North Wales we would like to be. Need a nice change. It is lovely as we have some lovely views and land etc, and there are only a few neighbours, within the area, and is fairly close to the sea, car race track, country park, horse race track, small airport, castles etc. Is just I need a fresh start. The only downside to here is that there is a two mile walk to the nearest bus stop, so it is not easy when I can't afford to put the car on the road. Employment around here is virtually extinct unless one wants a 7 hour a week job which hardly pays for the transport costs. To be honest, I can't cope with the thought of signing on or getting a job these days so I've had no income the last few years. Hence why I need a fresh start. Something to look forward to. Get energy back etc.
Dtb: We used to have fish. We plonked them in from a goldfish tank we had. We only had six or seven. Within no time we had thousands. An unsliced loaf of bread would dissapear in seconds! Then a heron came along. All the gold or white coloured fish went. The dark fish we gave away as we needed to clear the pond a few years ago.
We had frogs, toads and newts in the pond. We've not long cleared out the pond over the last couple of months. My brother did most of the work. He has energy! We were going to get some more fish but we can't yet as the water is fed from cold springs, so is too cold for fish that have been kept in a shop. In march we hope to buy a few again.
A few more views... I found one with snow! Also one with blossom that looks like snow!

Have not got the keys yet John but will be taking stuff over in advance of the move in. The owner has been a friend of ours for long time. He lives nearby. We are aiming for the 1st March.

That makes things much easier. Is luxury not to do it all the same day!
