Yeah, same here Mick. At £7 a go they are amazing little speakers, I'm really pleased with the results. I am glad I asked here rather than go ahead and fit the original speaker in the tender, it's much better in the body.

i can't test mine out yet, my Tornado and Flying Scotsman have got standard decoders in them, but i don't want to take them just yet as i will put them into other locos, but i can't do that until have made them dcc ready by putting a socket in them and wiring up for lights etc, it's all good fun though

Fitting lights etc is a bit beyond my knowledge base yet, but I'm sure I'll find some tuition videos and learn one day.

The problem with lights on a steamer is they can swap around depending upon the locos duty rosta, however something like Tornado is going to be a set in stone mainline express so the lights pattern on that will be more fixed.

The last time I saw Tornado on a heritage railway it was pulling freight wagons and they had changed the lamps to match the train. All my steam locos have none working lamps positioned as the loco would most likely be used. As I can only remember the express train position it really doesn’t matter.
