Default Tinker's layout

I have got to the stage with the Loft were i can get the Layout layed out, so no pictures yet but its 12' wide and 14' down each side with center section 8' (from the end wall)long 4' wide, imagine a letter "E" with the back bone (36" wide) running along the end wall, the 14' X 30" wide sections with a 4' square on the ends to make a 4th radius circle, 4 sheets of 1/2" softwood ply cut to the above sizes....maybe some picture towards the end of next week.....The hole into the loft is 29" square, about 36" corner to corner so no full sheets all cut in the wood yard @12 a sheet

That's a good lot of space for a layout you have there Tinker. I have a decent size loft but just can't get up there anymore. Look forward to seeing your progress.

Sounds promising, I can't wait to hear and see more.

Sorry to keep the thread way off track (pun intended ), but we lived in our last house for 23 years. When we came to move it was like Pandora's box opening cases and all sorts. There was a lot of "I wondered what happened to the that" or "do you remember these". LOL!

So when we moved here about 2+1/2 years ago I knew the fate of each box as I carefully lifted it and placed it in the substantial loft area. My thoughts at the time were "Well I don't ever intend moving ever again EVER, so I guess it's goodbye old friend". Little did I know at the time my legs would become so useless (something I hope not to be permanent) that it could turn out to be true. LOL!

Sorry Tinker, how are you getting on with the layout?

I've just built 2 workbenches from some dexion type racking that's been stored in my garage for over 20 years. Never throw anything away, it will be useful sometime 😂
