Default Turntable

Hi Gents

Looking to fit a Peco turntable, what's the best way to cut the hole without using a router?

Have a normal jig saw and drill etc any suggestions?

Go slowly with a jigsaw once you have carefully measured and drawn a circle. Just make sure there are no baseboard supports or wires where you want to cut.
I'm not arguing with you, I'm explaining why you are wrong.

Jigsaw will work ok, i have one with a dust extractor fitting loads of sawdust with out said check the under side for things you don't want cut, keep the cutout incase you change your mind easy to stick back in.....
