Default Model Railway shops - Bath

I will be spending a few days taking the waters at the end of this month and wondered if anyone knew of any model shops in Bath? I have checked the UK Model Railways Directory and there are none listed in that. R-

I took the water in Bath once! Never again. Cod liver oil tastes better. Can't help with the model shop - sorry.

Just had a look a the map, and Model Railways Direct at Portishead, only looks a short drive.

Hello Roger had looked on yellow pages and only one I found was Dunks Models But to be honest from their website they did not seem to have much to go out of your way for. A few Train sets couple of train packs some track, track pins, and one or two track side accessories. That was it as far as railways were concerned.

Thank you all for looking.

@ BB. The drive to Portishead will depend on how many hostelries there are in within walking distance of the hotel. R-

Heather and i had a 3week course at the Thermes(Bathes) at Bourbon Lancey. , very interesting, massage under water, walking round with differing currents and velocity, hot tubs, saunas, the works. Over here, its at doctors, discretion. If your health warrants attendence, you get a special discount. Its a very well known place, people come from all over Europe. Very busy. john

Hi Roger
BB is right - the waters taste flamin' 'orrible
Bath to Portishead is not the easiest of drives. It involves driving from one side of Bristol to the other. A long time ago I did the journey regularly and didn't like it!!!!

Nearest is Bristol. Easy drive from Bath, but horrible place to drive around.

Thanks all. I'll give model railway shopping a miss and just have a swim in the rooftop pool. R-

And my Sat nav goes mad in Bristol. It had me going around in circles on the one way system last time I went to Bristol.
