Do you mind me asking where you ordered the shovel? I had an idea to have a mine or quarry on my layout.

As a consequence of the terrible weather, which stopped me going out for my daily walk, I am very pleased too say that I have now completed the tiling of my church roof. Once the PVA has dried, I will trim off the tiles, shape the roof, fit the ridge and then administer the Allan Downes treatment.

Testing bits of the track on the layout that our a bit 'off the beaten track' and getting them up and running.... The dreaded soldering iron!

I just had a look on the site, they have a nice mini digger in n gauge. Some nice stuff on the site too, thank you for the info. Do you have any pictures of your layout with the digger in it?

I don't at the moment Robbie, and the rate I am getting things done its likely to be another couple of years before I do . The picture I posted was posed just for that photo. I feel I ought to point out the shovel I have is OO gauge. R-

That's no problem Rodger, yes I noticed it was 00, I wish I had a bit more space to do a 00 layout but not at the moment but I'll have as much fun with the n gauge layout.
