Your very welcome, it is what the website is mostly about, sharing idea's with others for them to invest in maybe having a go themselves, its also a great resource (Links page) for kick starting searches.

I hope I have not offended footplate, I may have got carried away with my storytelling . It may not be apparent from my posts on this forum, but Lumsdonia is a bit of a sort of "alternative railway" and has a background story of being a bit quirky.

Some of the stories include a running battle with B.R. mainly because most stock was "bought" from them, but Lumsdonia prides itself in being "different". One day, I will right up all the anecdotes and publish it on the website.

Soooooooo......

BIG NEWS!

Well it is for me!

Lumsdonia is now a domain.

So you can always find it by just typing in www.lumsdonia.co.uk

All previous links still work as I have them redirected from the old site.

Thanks chaps, glad you find it useful, it encourages me to expand the site.
Although the site was originally set up as my kind of blog, it rapidly turned into a repository of tips n links. Obviously it is for the benefit of all, as topics discussed on forums lead me to collate the info into one controllable resource, that is a rock solid goto for reference. So rather than search for a subject in several forums, to find the link to search for what you want, I thought I should list them in one place, one book mark. The irony is I find I use it more than my own bookmarks , as it is far easier than maintaining bookmarks on my several PC's! (does not disappear when reloading software or if PC is replaced or lost)
It's a great place to kick off from when hunting something down on the net.
Always happy to field suggestions to useful sites or tips, that I can include.

Always did feel uncomfortable about this new ‘resource’.
Plagiarism is not pleasant - even I have had to start watermarking my photos (freely shared in the past) as I now share them to a much wider audience than I ever did before.

PS that doesn’t include the ones I shared with you FB.
