Glad you did Brian - I've never been to clued up on radii(?). They come in 18inch, 21, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48 and 60 inch - and a straight. BB

Many thanks for all the great ideas.

Iíll give the software suggestions a go.

Re the drawing onto the baseboard, I donít want to build the baseboards until I get the track layout sorted. I would rather build the boards to fit the design. I have downloaded the Peco templates and will use these further into the process to check geometry etc.

Good plan Clive. I had to do it the other way around because of my space and shape restrictions.

As far as the Peco templates are concerned I have found them really useful - I'm assuming you're talking about the ones off the Peco website?
