Default PSU update

The ex laptop PSU I have found is emitting a steady 19.73 volts - I have cut the plug connector off and fitted the wires into a terminal block. The Gaugemaster CDU (which arrived today) has terminal blocks in and out so this approach will work well.

However, the output is DC. Earlier comments suggested this won't be a problem but the CDU wiring diagram suggests an input of 15 - 25 volts AC.

Anybody put me straight please? Thank you.

The CDUs will accept either as the input.

Very pleased to be able to feedback that the ex-laptop PSU and the Gaugemaster CDU are firing the solenoid point motors very cleanly indeed! Great result and many thanks for all the advice.
