My Golden Arrow kit came, and I have made a start to renaming and adding some decoration to the outside of my pullman coaches. I am not finding the cutting and application of the transfers too easy though. It is an adhesive film on a card back, and it is very difficult to be sure that you have cut enough, or you get little white parts showing. Will have to be more carefull.

Hiyall,
I seem to work a lot slower than some folk on here, but I actually made a start on my new layout today. I use kitchen cupboards and fixed wall brackets for all my supports to guarantee a solid base to work with. I worked on one corner and also the supports for the hinged section. I`ll try to include photos when they are finished. Alan |

I finally managed to do the transfers on the Golden Arrow, but what a fiddle they were, really too small for my eyes and fingers. This is a photo with another of my favourites, the Mallard.

I've just finished constructing my four 9mm ply boards with bracing. Together they make an 11 x 7 ft layout for my planned oo gauge railway.
I just need to seal the boards with some shed/fence paint then join them together with coach bolts before starting to lay the track. It's starting to come together at last! |
