Though the pics might not show much movement some eork has been done. I have opted to use the Bachmann smokebox saddle due to it fits the Bachmann body. Rather than make a new one. With a shim of plasticard to lift the smokebox this brings the whole boiler to the right angle as it buts up to the cab nicely. The firebox bottom plates (long bits running between the midile and rear wheel splashers bottom of firebox)have taken a betting and will be redone in plastic when the epoxy as dried. However I can't remove fully as they rest on the loco platform keeping the boiler level so the new ones will be slightly pushed out ward. But on the good side as the boiler is bigger any filling can be done inside and won't show or interfere with the model chassis.

Some photos to show the difference between what will be Comet and the Re-built patriots cab to cab, and the LFB Jubilee buffer to buffer. As you can see the difference between the jubilee an pat shows up most below the running plate on being deeper drop. And the rebuilt jubilee boiler somkebox towers above the normal Jubilee.

I had it in primary school in the infants. Milk I mean. Oh. Replying to a few posts behind. Just noticed! Hence the editing as I thought I was looking at the last page.
I think it was stopped somewhere in the 1980's. What it was, that there was a milk surplus in the 1970's and before so it was a good way of dealing with it.
