Great work WTD, this is a wonderful looking model and you have added the perfect finishing touches. Fab!

Thank you PT. All my steam locos get the same details.

Lovely addition to your layout WTD. I would have preferred it in green though. But that would not have fitted in with your era I guess. John

I have got a green GWR City of Truro and a Dukedog. I just pretend they are preserved. I got the black one because it was cheap from Cheltenham Models at the Wycombe show. I do like black locos.

I have soft spot for the Bulldog and the duke class. I have a Duke which I made from a Kay's kit years ago. I should buy a new one as my old Duke is over 40 years old now and looks it, as well.

There has been a lot of noise on the ‘Thomas Forum’ recently about a quality issue with the ‘new’ Hornby Railroad version of the 14xx 0-4-2 so I’m hoping it doesn’t extend to the batch of 250 they are releasing as the Warley limited edition.
This will be no. 1450 in BR green and the real loco will also be on display at the NEC.
Only available through a few ‘selected’ retailers and supposedly only on sale at the show. A couple of those retailers are showing them on their websites for order. One is already sold out and I have mine on order from Gaugemaster - I had planned to wait until the show but.............

On one batch of locos the centre wheels with tyres don't touch the track. Glad I bought the Hattons/DJ version.
