resistor question

Can I wire two LED lights together and use one R2.1k resistor to take the 3 volt lights to 12 volts?

Thank you,

David

Gravel parking areas

I am getting ready to put in some gravel parking areas on my OO gauge layout. What is the easiest to use? Would N gauge ballast work ? Or are there other techniques?

Thank you,

David

Response from PECO

Dear Mr Enghauser

Thank you for your email

Our Sales Department inform us that PL1000 is under development and that although we do not know exactly when, we should look to see it by September/October.

Kind regards

Re: Road construction

The roofing shingles are left over from the new roofing on our house. I saw a post of a modeler in the US that used the back of shingles. He painted it with a light coat of gray paint, and then sprayed a light coat of India ink on it. I have not done that yet. here is his posting. Scroll down toward...

Road construction

Below is a picture of a sample for my road construction. I would appreciate your comments/feedback. I'm using the back of asphalt roofing shingles.

As always, thanks for your help.

Peco Smart switch

I just received a new order of the Peco Smart switch. The toggle switches in this set have 3 prongs vs the two prongs in the older set. I am just using the toggles to throw the switch motors. Do I solder the wires to the two outer prongs or to the outer prong and inner prong?

Thanks,
David
