I really must get round to grasping the nettle, and removing a body or two from my locos to investigate possibilities. The only locos i have ever removed bodies from , regularly are 3 rail Dublo ones, to remagnetise , or fit new carbon brushes. I did look at a couple of DCC ready loco instructions, ...

Sandy, thanks. Not quite so easy here to downsize, as houses in france, take a time to sell. Years, in many cases. Our immediate solution has been to grass over rear veggie patch, and one of two more, at the front. This has cut down a lot of work, as simple to keep looking good with Ride on mower. I...

Piece of plywood works for me. Far cheaper. I have a curved piece made for bends.

Interesting post. I run TT, and have today just added a large flexi loop, about 25 foot. Have 5 locos , plus trucks, coaches. All peco flexi track.

Oh dear, not sure i should have learnt. Will take a photo of my O gauge cabinet, and see if i can ipad that.
