Interesting, i had to make a lot of 2 inch strips, for fencing. I simply used the bandsaw.

A few of us have Helixes, home made, also, lower fiddle yards. You can buy helixes in sections, to whatever height, on ebay, complete with fittings. By saving the money, you could spend it on track/ pointwork. Just a thought.

A good way of improving your carpentry skills, is to have a go, yourself. Sure you will make the odd mistake, but wood is as cheap as chips, for framing out, and plenty of help here. To my mind the construction of the layout, is as important, as the running of it. Many of us, change bits on a regula...

How did you know i still had one of them.. long end with pointed tip. Heathers dad used to put it on cooker gas.

I went to order a set, then stopped mid order, due to storm. Received an email, from them, with a further 20% off, so went ahead with purchase. Delivery to france, is only, 6 euros, superb rate. On question of heat guns, i have 2. A black and decker, which is a tad feeble, and another from, i think,...

Airfix, locos.

I have the offer of 14 new locos, ex toy shop. Three of them are airfix, one of which, is Royal scot Fusilier. I know nothing about airfix, does anyone have any.

connecting rod pins.

Greetings, have needed to remove a push in one to reset a wheel, which is now fine. Am left with a pin, i can barely see, let alone, hold. Is there a system/ tool/ knack for putting these back. Am terrified of dropping it, never to be seen again. Thanks guys. john
