I was planning on moving it on at sometime as it was an impulse buy and doesn't really fit with my BR Blue diesel era, but not sure I can be bothered punt...

Re: Accurascale Class 55 Deltic

I remember as a young teenager making my first train spotting trip across from Glasgow to Edinburgh Waverley where I bagged many new loco’s....... about halfway thru the day I was at one of the remote platforms when I heard this amazing sound from the other side of the station...... I headed over at...

Re: Hattons - New Website design

Given that this topic title refers to the Web site Design, it would seem appropriate to limit comments only to this specific aspect...... I have been on the new website and played around to assess various criteria..... so far very impressed by the speed and easy to navigate search engine....... time...

Re: Solutions for track at baseboard joints

Entry into the garage via the back door is at the opposite end of the layout where for some reason my liftout section works fine........ my railway cave is a home built mid section of the garage with false walls at either end, separating the front where the up and over door is and the bike and bins ...

Gents, Many thanks for all the thoughtful and constructive replies to my track joint issue........ however as good as your suggestions are, my negotiation skills are better and SWMBO has just given formal authorisation for the laying of permanent track across my lift out section....... the final ter...

Re: Hatton's Sale of the Century

I secumbed earlier today to 4-off Hornby Chocolate and Cream coaches ( not the Railroad versions) at about £14 each, which seemed good value for new compared to the prices being touted for used....... will be a contrast to my BR Blue Diesels and shall sit nicely in the Railway Heritage Centre that’s...
